My Dog dosent want to use his collar is there anyway to leash train him?
i want to leash train my dog but When i put the leash on him he wants to stay put and whenever i give a tug on it he yelps ive tried tugging on it multiple times and he continues to yelp even when i move he dosent want to stay with me he just sits there
Try using a harness on your dog. That way when you pull on him, it won’t hurt his neck. If he still refuses to move, you might want to try taking him to a dog training professional. My dog isn’t good on a leash either, but he isn’t as bad off. He likes to pull on the leash. I just tell him to heal and lightly tug up on the leash. You should try that if you ever get him to walk. Good luck!

How do I get my dog to stop pulling when she’s on the leash?
Walking your dog can be a nightmare if it’s not trained to walk on a leash. There are a lot of distractions on your walk and your dog will be very excited to be going with you. Large dog breeds can cause a real problem with pulling, so much so that they never get to experience the joy of a leisurely walk with you.
Now you can train your dog to walk with you while on a leash with little effort. When your dog learns this important skill even the children will be able to walk them. Read more about good puppy training techniques

How do I know if my dog has ear mites? Dog Ear Mites Symptoms
What are the signs and symptoms of ear mites? The most common signs are shaking the head and scratching the ears. If the dog has an infection from it you may see a dark brown debris in the ear with tiny white specs moving in it. You can see the mites with a magnifying glass.
Most flea products will kill the mites, but you need to treat all the skin on the dog, as well as the area the dog lives in to get rid of the mites permanently. Also any other pets as well, since they are very contagious.
The signs especially the debris may be from a severe ear infection, so if it doesn’t clear up right away with treatment, then you need to get the dog to the vet.

I’ve had my puppy for a month now. My grandma bought me it becuse i wanted one so bad. I’ve been tring to potty train my puppy but nothing i try works. And my mom said that if i don’t potty train her in a month she will give away my puppy. I don’t want that to happen. My puppy is 3 months and I’m always the one who takes her baths, feeds her, and i do everything for my puppy. Most parents say their childeren aren’t responsibable for a pet but i am. The only problem is i need to potty train her in a month. Please help. I want to keep my puppy.
This will affect your sleep but it worked for me & I was working a full-time job – it worked in only a week but you have to be diligent & make sure your parents know what you are doing.
This is what I did: Every night, I took my Chocolate Lab out to potty EVERY two hours. When I went to bed at 10 pm, I set my alarm for midnight, woke up & took him out, re-set the alarm for 2 am, etc…You have to use a really encouraging tone of voice every time, no matter how tired you are & when he does do the deed, praise him a lot!! Be sure you take him to the same spot every time & take him out the same door every time so he/she will get familiar with the routine. This was a little extreme in that I was SO TIRED for that entire week but it worked for me because I wanted to housebreak him quickly – he was nine/ten weeks old at the time.
I gradually took away the amount of times I took him out at night, from 3 times a night to once a night, until eventually, his bladder was big enough to hold it all night. There will still be some accidents but try not to yell at your puppy – positive reinforcement is the key. The Wee Pads are a good idea. GOOD LUCK!!

How to train puppy to be like one in the army k9 units?
My family and I went to an airshow today, and one of the perks was a presentation of an explosives dog and one of the more cliched military dogs that runs after bad people running away.We just got a puppy,6 mnths old a few days ago, and I thought it would be cool to teach him some of these tricks. I’m too young to go into the army or marines, so how can I train him?
The dogs in the K9 unit are VERY cool. They have training that generally costs $5,000-$10,000 or more. Unless you have that kind of money to dish out…they wont be quite like that. BUT you can still teach your dog some very col tricks at home on your own.
You can take him to basic obedience classes to start and move on from there.
